Walkie Talkies #4 – What Do We Owe Each Other?
It’s easy to scroll past suffering. Harder to sit with it. Harder still to ask what it means for us, the ones lucky enough to look away.
From Sudan to Gaza, and all the homes we’ve left behind in search of a better life, it’s been a heavy time. This walk is about moral responsibility and what it really means to care in a world that hurts. How do we turn empathy into action? And what do we owe the people we’ll never meet?
We’re grounding this one in Philosophize This!’s episode on Peter Singer and effective altruism, a deep dive into how we can live more ethically and give more consciously.
And because this one is about doing, not just talking, we’re trialing something new: a pay-what-you-can model (min £5), with 100% of proceeds donated to the Sudanese Diaspora Network to support those who need it most in Sudan.
New route, new theme, same great vibes, just with a little more purpose this time. 💚
